Get our Divi Library Shortcodes Plugin for FREE

Today we are releasing a FREE Divi plugin called Divi Library Shortcodes! This plugin is actually something we developed back in 2018 (when we released Divi Mega Pro), and it’s been a members only product for our All Access Pass members for a while now.

Well today we’re bringing it out of hibernation so to speak and releasing it as a free plugin!

What is Divi Library Shortcodes Plugin?

In short, Divi Library Shortcodes will generate a shortcode for every item in your Divi Library, allowing you to place that shortcode anywhere on your Divi website, including within other Divi modules.

Let’s take a step back and explain why this is so powerful.

If you’re familiar with Divi then you’re familiar with the fact that the accordion, toggle, tabs, and slider modules are limited to the content within a text box.

While the modules are great, they’re pretty basic and limited since content you add to a text box is pretty boring. But imagine if instead of just a text box, you could add things like columns, buttons, maps, contact forms, blurbs, etc. Now the toggle, tabs, accordion, and slider module just got infinitely more powerful!

View the demo to see Divi Library Shortcodes in action:

Here’s one of the examples from the demo. This is the tabs module (with custom CSS) with pricing table to create a Pricing Toggle for monthly/yearly pricing options.

(Pricing Toggle using the Divi tabs Module + Divi Library Shortcodes Plugin)

BONUS: The Layouts in the demo are included for free along with the plugin! 🥳

Please note: If you import the layouts, you will likely need to copy and paste the shortcode for the respective library layout into the page. Since the Library Shortcode using post IDs, the IDs for each layout will likely be different on your own website.

Trying to lock content with the Bloom plugin and have a video that is a shortcode generated by this plugin. When I put my email in and unlock the video it just shows the shortcode and not the video.

Hmm it sounds like Bloom won’t render the shortcode. Unfortunately that’s not a problem with the Divi Library Shortcodes plugin but with Bloom. I don’t think there’s anything that can be done unfortunately 🙁

Great plugin Tim. Quick question, how do you customize the tabs module in divi for it to look like that (I mean the tabs themselves)? Do you have a tutorial and/or a plugin that expands the customization options? Because the vanilla divi tabs module is pretty terrible.

      Hi Philipp,

There unfortunately isn’t a built in way to customize the tabs much. Like you mentioned, the tabs module is pretty bland. We customized it heavily with custom CSS which can be tricky if you’re not comfortable with CSS. However, our free layout has this already done for you 🙂

I downloaded both shortcodes and demos to install on WP. I was able to successfully install the shortcodes, but the demo zip file fails every time. Any suggestions? thank you!

Hi, I just installed and activated this Divi Library Shortcode plugin, but when I go to the Divi Library now, the page is blank/white (nothing to see here, folks) and then when I deactivate the plugin, the library returns as normal. Not sure if I’m missing a step or ?? Please advise… thank you!! 🙂
